FEW WOMEN MANAGE TO CARVE OUT A PLACE IN THE CLOSED WORLD OF REGGAE. NATTALI RIZE IS ONE OF THEM. HER UNDENIABLE STAGE TALENT, AND ABOVE ALL HER DISTINCTIVE VOICE WITH SOMETIMES "RIHANNA-LIKE" INTONATIONS, HAVE WON OVER JAMAICAN PRODUCERS.

Originally from Australia and coming from a rock background, she didn't necessarily have everything it takes to charm this kind of audience at first. And yet, in no time she became the darling of Jamaican studios : her voice commands attention and contrasts with her fragile appearance. A rare gem you absolutely must hear, because these days it's hard to find so much sensitivity and finesse on such hard-hitting riddims. Since her early days with the Australian band Blue King Brown, NATTALI RIZE has toured Europe's finest world music stages (Summerjam, the biggest reggae festival in Germany, PALEO in Switzerland...) playing hits such as “Rebel Love” (more than 1 million views on YouTube). She is enjoying explosive success in the United States where she is currently playing some thirty dates, including the prestigious California Roots in Monterey, California. The young Australian impresses and has firmly earned her place in the sometimes macho and violent world of reggae. A daily struggle to rise above often clichéd lyrics and assert a committed message.
