FROM INTERNATIONAL POP TO TRADITIONAL AFRICAN MUSIC BY WAY OF SOUL, HER INFLUENCES ARE AS NUMEROUS AS THEY ARE VARIED. SHE ALSO REMEMBERS GOING WITH HER PARENTS WHEN THEY SANG IN THEIR TOGOLESE CHOIR, WHERE THE DRUMS RESOUNDED.

Over time, this world has absorbed other influences: French chanson, film music and hip-hop, which taught her the art of phrasing and flow. This culture is the raw material of this self-taught artist, who shaped herself alone with her guitar, which now lets her compose and write her own songs.

On this first EP, Meylo brings all her influences together, blending acoustic sounds with soul. This very first record is the result of the meeting between this young artist and a producer known as VANUPIÉ.​​
