FAB I&I /// REGGAE
A SINGER-SONGWRITER FROM NEW CALEDONIA, THIS ARTIST HAS HAD REGGAE IN HIS BONES SINCE HIS VERY FIRST GUITAR CHORDS.
Since 2014 he has been playing concert after concert and opening for the biggest names in reggae such as Groundation, Soja, Kimany Marley, Naâman, Raging Fyah... 3 albums, 2 singles, 1 EP and features with Naâman, Raging Fyah, Marcus Gad and House Of Shem as well as many "Tribute to Bob Marley"concerts have helped raise his profile on the reggae scene.
3 years after the release of "Mama Earth", voted reggae album of the year in New Caledonia, FAB is back with a new project in collaboration with Aston Barrett Jr. A 10-track album, 9 of them recorded in Miami at "Bad Lions studio recording", under the title "FAB Meets Aston Barrett jr - NEVA GIVE UP".
Fab spread his wings, and it was Naâman's visit in 2015 that encouraged him to branch out. He was asked to write lyrics and lay his voice on a riddim. Little by little he explored other musical worlds and developeda lighter format, for example to play acoustic or sound system sets. Prolific, Fab never stops writing and composing... So, naturally, came the idea ofa solo album, but as a true perfectionist, the artist wanted to work with the best to produce quality reggae. Having been in touch with Aston Barrett Jr (son of Bob Marley's bassist and current drummer of the Wailers) for some time, he had the chance to spend a few days with this great multi-instrumentalist at his Miami studio to record most of the tracks on Neva Give Up . An unforgettable meeting and experience that led to a first album with the sweet scent of roots reggae from the golden years.
