VINTAGE SWING, EXPLOSIVE BEATS: WHEN ELECTRO SWINGS IN FRENCH, WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF DA'CHABADA!
Da'Chabada is a French electro-swing trio that fuses the elegance of vintage interwar sounds with the power and energy of modern electro rhythms (house pop). Their world sits somewhere between Peggy Suave, Caravan Palace and Pink Martini, with retro nods to Ella Fitzgerald, Scott Joplin and Ray Ventura. Their bold bet? Making French words swing over music that is festive, refined and resolutely danceable. The project was born in 2020 in the mind of Eric M'Jans (songwriter and arranger). Soon joined by Jimmy Lo' on guitar, Da'Chabada took off in 2023 with the arrival of Lucile, who lent her voice to the first album Rétromaniak, released on 24 May 2024.
In 2025, a new chapter began with the arrival of Néla, a singer passionate about music since childhood, who joined the adventure to perform the concerts and help create the second album, currently in the works.
With universal lyrics, infectious energy and a deliciously retro aesthetic, Da'Chabada stands out as a unique band on the French electro-swing scene.
